My summer has had it’s share of bargain hunting!
One of the best bargains of the summer were these sherbets found by Kathleen in her favorite .99 store. They are so thin and made in Italy! Thankfully they had a healthy stock so both Kathleen and I could enjoy the bargain.
Pier One had a splattering of bargains, including these napkin rings. They remind me of a French bistro. Hmm…perhaps I need a table to recall my travels to Paris? Something for the future.
I saw a fair share of these in blog land early this summer. I was happy to get these on clearance and pack them away for next year. Kathleen went two weeks later than me and got them even cheaper!
One must be able to think ahead when bargain hunting. I love using this shade of green during the Christmas season to break up some of the red.
Not too much happening at Christmas Tree in the way of bargains, but they did have these Wedgewood plates. I have an individual place from my baby days. I know something got broken through the years, but not sure which piece. At this price it was worth grabbing.
Have you found many bargains this summer?
And…what do you think of my new toy? I love it as it enables me to write on my photos. It’s probably most easily described as a pad with a stylist that works with Photo Shop. It’s called a Bamboo.
